Barcode software

What does anyone recommend for barcode generation software.
One of the last vestiges of MacOS 9 in our shop is Bar Code Pro 3.55 from SNX. in order to get an upgrade discount to version 6.05 you need to have at least version 4. I'd end up having to pay the full 399.95.
We just don't use the software enough to justify the investment, but I also want to get out of Classic on all our production machines.
Any suggestions?

We're still using Bar code Pro v 4.07 (runs in Classic).

We don't use it much, but we do use it. The fact that it runs in Classic mode doesn't bother me (I still have and use Quark 5).

We use iBarcoder. It runs in OSX and costs less than taking a family of 4 to the movies!

We use Barcode Producer downloaded for free from versiontracker.com.
It does everything we need except Pharmacodes & we're label printers so use lots of barcodes.
