Black drop shadows knocking out over solid spot

Ok I got a corel doc where black drop shadows are over a solid spot background. The problem is that the drop shadows are not overprint and knocking out. How can I get these drop shadows to overprint.

Thanks

P.S. I hate this stupid program

Haven't worked with corel in years and didn't like it much also. Is there a way like Illustrator (attributes) to click the drop shadow to force it to overprint? Does the black drop shadow completely cover the spot color? If it does maybe you can recolor the drop shadow for example, 100% spot + 30% k giving it the overprint effect. Or you can export as an eps out of Corel and edit it in Illustrator.

Haven't touched corel in years.

I know that in photoshop/illy/indesign if you don't have the transpaceny setting to Multiply it will cause knockout issues. Maybe theres somethign like this in Corel?

Seems everyone who hates a programme hasn't actually taken time out to learn it.... just a thought.

Corel is ok if you know it and can do much more than Indesign
