Excel docs won't open on Win XP

Hey ya'll,

Once an excel doc has been opened and saved on OSX Panther it can't be opened on one of our older PC's running WinXP Pro. I tried saving it in other formats with no luck. I tried opening from the application and by double clicking. They all open fine on our newest PC so I know they still work. Do you think it might be that we need to update our WinXP Pro on the older machine? Any ideas?

Thanks, Kevin

The PC is using Excel 10.0.6501.0, the Mac is using 10.1.5. We have a newer PC that is using 8.0.1.4307 and that opens and behaves perfectly.

Does this help?

Kevin

I figured it out. The PC didn't have the proper Services running. I don't remember the name of the service I turned on, but it delt with obtaining information from databases. Once I turned it on the files were openable.

Thanks,
Kevin
