Spot colors in Publisher 2002 converting to cmyk

Hello all,

Have a Publisher 2002 file running on Windows 2000 that is set up as spot color. The setting for Commercial Printing Tools/Color Printing/ is checked for Spot colors. I'm able to print separated lasers showing the correct spot colors but when I create a .prn file and distill it with Acrobat 5 Distiller it comes out in cmyk. My PPD version is Adobe 4.3. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why .prn? Bad choice, choose postscriped file or eps then distille
