Crash after crash after crash and for finish.. another crash

At my job, we got a new G4 1ghz come with OSX 10.2 (updated to 10.2.6). So we've been exited about got it, so we install it on our second G4 733mhz, update it and install all our software on both mac. MacOS X is beautiful... but instable here.. i dont know if its us or the OS...
Quark5 crash every first time we open it, suitcase crash at sametime. OSX crash sometime when we want abort a job (command+.) Acrobat distiller6 dont create any pdf.. and when we close it OSX crash etc etc etc... So now we hate OSX

Anybody got the same problem? I cant wait until got Quark6.. hope its work fine.

By the way, anyone have found a way to erase system font in OSX? The helvetica, courrier, meridien etc cause us some problem, we want use it in suitcase..
thanks

I found that Quark5 works better if I start Classic first, and then launch Quark, rather than just launching Quark and having it force Classic to start.

I'm using the latest version of Suitcase and it seems to be working fine. You can set the preferences to manage the system fonts, and override them when you want to use another version of a font instead.

You may want to read Chuck Weger's article on OS X font management on this website, and Apple has a PDF available for download from their website that is helpful too in determining how to manually remove fonts from the various locations in OS X and which ones can safely be moved. You can find it at

http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=75494

Be careful when removing fonts because some applications will not launch or will become unstable if the required fonts are not available.
