VMWare Fusion - Windows on a Mac

VMware Fusion
it works and I have not had any issues. Has anyone else tried any of this software. A friend of mine is an engineer for VMware and has had me testing this out. I have to say even with all of our graphics intense work, it has not slowed down my machine. I can copy and paste between Windows Apps and Mac Apps. And it works on my regular desktop not a separate window contain just Windows. Seemless.

Hi RedOak,

I saw this software the other day and hopefully I'll be upgrading to a brand-spanking-new intel iMac very soon... so you've had no troubles with this software?? Fusion seems to work exactly how I would like Windows to behave on my OSX system...

Cheers, Tony

I have not seen any issues and it is working great... but the posted fix is an easy one.

OK, ive been running windows on mac with bootcamp, and parallels, it works fine, but, I would rather just run windows on a Intel windows machine, scrap the mac.

Ive been trying to get used to and like mac osx, but the sad truth is that its just clunky, a same spec machine running XP is much more efficient. Im not slagging off mac osx here, but i really dont see what all you mac junkies love about it, they crash and lock up a lot more than any XP machine ive ever used, and I can always get out of a lock up on an XP machine, but not mac.

The interface is horrible at best and just a time waster, I challenge you avid mac users to try XP as long as ive put up with osx and then give an opinion instead of just writing it off.

I've used XP since the first day it was released. I use it everyday...a lot. I also use the Mac everyday. They both work fine. They both have good points and they both crash occasionally. Both recover most of the time. There is no clear winner in my book. I do like them both a lot better than any form of Linux. Andy they are both better than Vista for the time being. The only problem I have with Windows is the adware and spyware. You have to have AV installed along with adware/spyware detector/preventer/remover and you have to keep all of it up to date or you will be overrun with viruses/adware/spyware unless you stay completely off of the internet. Not so on the Mac...at this time.
