Screen Shots Not There...

I didn't quite remember when this started happening, but when I use the (Shift+cmnd+4) the take a selective screen shot, everything works OK>PDF shows up on the monitor> click on it and POOF!! its gone, even when I can click on it Acrobat won't open it, Photoshop says it's a corrupt attachment, and get info says it's 0k in size 8O
Anyone else have this issue, or am I just the looser they say I am ops:

OS 10.3.9 on a G3-450 MHz just installed "Security Update 2007-005" but it happened before this.

:?: :?: :?:

Repair permissions and empty system cache files Sparky. OnyX is a great tool for doing this. Running fsck -fy won't hurt either.

Some months ago, had a HUGE problem; [won't bore with the details]. As a result downloaded the full version of Cocktail, [a few bucks/shareware]. It's got a nice easy console/interface. Button activate Repair Permissions, Clean Caches etc., [which caches are sub-selectable...]. Usually try and run stuff every other week or so. Some restarts required.
Just a thought. Had I not had the aforementioned problem, may not have bothered, but it's part of my routine now.
