:?: Anyone using this? :?:
I am tired of having to go back down to work to "fix" plate problems. I have Brisque 5 which allows me to log in remotely, but I need a way to control macs from home too. Any info/experiences with Remote Desktop (on osX 10.3.9) is appreciated.

I worked from home for over a year using Timbuktu. It worked great with both the Macs and PCs.

ARD works great as does VNC. That's what the remote display works off of anyway in ARD, VNC. Isn't it nice to bundle opensource software with your own tools and charge money for it?

You don't have to buy the fullblown ARD to get it to work. You can actually turn on ARD on your MAC at work via the sharing system preference pane and then access it via VNC. Just make sure you've got the appropriate settings setup in your firewall and you'll be good to go.

I love ARD. I couldnt do my job without it. I just upgraded to version 3 yesterday and it is great. Well worth the money if you are using all the extra features it provides. If you are simply just connecting to another computer then you might think about using just vnc.

i use apple remote desktop 3...and also timbuktu cause i have some dumb ass PCs also (timbuktu is cross platorm!).

apple remote is fantastic and so is timbuktu...
if you are all mac...use apple remote desktop.
