Transfering license from PC to MAC

Hi, i know this might not realy be pre-press... but its something we use in our pre-press too... I hope i'm in the right topic.. this might not even be a mac os x problem... .but maybe someone knows - or has experience with this problem....

It seems like i can't transfer my license for Macromedia Studio MX 2004 from PC to MAC.
is it even posible? i transfered/disabled the license like its told me to (help in dreamweaver) on my pc... but i can't activate it on my mac -i keep getting a error "Too many activations"

The serial number you entered is not valid for activation. It may have already been activated the maximum number of times.

Please call blablablabla....

when i go back to the pc i can simply reactivate my studio mx 2004... no problem...

All my search on the internet speeks of using this option (transfer license) if you have the above 'too many activations' error.. but thats exactly what i'm doing....

I only found one post saying it' s imposible to transfer pc license to mac... but how insane is that? i payed for the product right? i need to be able to transfer the license... i no longer use the outdated pc and want to get studio mx 2004 up and running on my mac G5.

Pls help me out!

Yes, thats what i too found... Its describing the problem but doesn't give a solution

I also send a mail to macromedia support - lets see what they have to say about it.. but i guess the above link explains enouf
