Font Book

O.K., we finally made the jump into system X yesterday, G5, dual 1.8-pretty fast machine indeed. Anyway, I was wondering if the supplied font book with Panther is adequate for production, or should we get Font Reserve or Suitcase? Any ideas on this?

I'm running Suitcase. Once I got it figured out it's pretty good and fairly stable. even Apple says font book is not robust enough for production. All it really does is automate moving fonts for you.

with our font library, 3000+ faces, the auto activation from suitcase rocks!

the biggest downfall with fontbook is it won't activate fonts for classic apps..
