Multiple Users and folders

Hi, I'm having issues with multiple users accessing the same folders. Example: Say I've created a job that has come in as PDF and placed it in a folder on the hard drive, but the other user on my machine needs to work on this job. When she does, she cannot save any changes to the PDFs or anything else that I just placed in that folder. I've tried changing permissions on it and that doesn't seem to help. Any ideas?

Have you changed the document's ownership & permissions for others to read/write?

We just had a problem similar to this running an XServe , and we had to upgrade the Server OS, which has fixes for file permissions in it. Not that it will help you, but others may be experiencing what we did and just changing the permissions don't work.

the other choice is to add a drive (or partition the main one) and not apply any permissions at all to it.
