I'm going to Queensryche in May, (yeah I know, Queensryche, LOL!) and hoping to go to Les Claypool in June.

Nothin wrong with Queensryche.
I got into them when Empire came out,never got into Operation MindCrime.

Always love to see Plant (I've seen him with and without Page a few times each) it's always a really good show with some great unknown opening acts usually.

Bands playing this summer.
Les Claypool. If you havent, see this man. Incredible show.
Rush. They had a new album release three weeks ago.
The Police. Reunion tour, not sure how many stops.
Rage Against The Machine. Again, not sure how many stops.
This is just the tip of the iceberg. Fall is looking to line up better than Summer though.

I saw that he was listed in your post. I was agreeing with you, while speaking to the rest of the community's music lovers. I have been a Primus fan since 1989 and have seen Les somewheres around 9-10 times now with Primus. (Best time was when Helmet opened. Still not sure which act was better.) Im yet to see Fancy Band or Frog Brigade. Im pretty sure there is a fancy band show in Dallas this summer, I'll be attending. Im also on the Primus board alot. :wink: |
