Which BROWSER (for Mac)

It seems that Safari is the most popular with maybe some Firefox users...
and probably plenty of Explorer users still.......

If you like these, you may love Camino...
I switched a few months ago and seem to have the least trouble ever.

YOUR OPINIONS?

On OSX, I use Firefox 99% of the time. I also develop websites, and Firefox is the most standards-compliant browser out there - meaning if something looks wrong in FF, then something is probably wrong in the code. There's also oodles of extensions/addons that make things so much cooler/better/handier.

I use Safari the remaining 1% of the time.

Anyone using IE on OSX is retarded. Dump that sucker now and use a Mozilla browser or Safari.

I even refuse to use IE on OS9. When using an OS9 machine, I use iCab. Much better support of CSS.

Screw Microsoft.

Yep, Camino for me, too. Painless.

Firefox - 90%
Safari - 10%

(does IE even run in OSX? I know MS dropped support for it a while back.)

Actually, MS made a version of IE for OSX when it first came out. Hasn't (and never will be) updated, so I see no point in even using it. All Firefox here. (both Mac & PC)

Waiting for a more stable build of Firefox, see this link for my misery

http://www.prepressforums.com/ftopic-7408-0.html

Gonna check out the latest build this weekend. Currently using Camino, I can't sem to get on with Safari, nothing wrong with it, just don't like it. I'm not a big fan of Camino though.

50% Firefox
50% Safari

Less than 1% IE. I still have it loaded at home and I used to use it for one site i was having problems with using Safari. I don't think I use that site any more. So I use IE any time that I'm building a web page and need to feel angry at Microsoft for lousy Javascript acceptance.

Mac IE hasn't been updated since 2001 or so, and in 2006 Microsoft officially closed the book on it. When it first came out in 98/99 it actually had CSS support that other modern browsers didn't, and was considered "cutting edge".

It does run on OSX. I use it only for website testing...just to see how badly it displays valid HTML/CSS.

There are actually people using it. My boss, for one. He tells me various things are broken with the sites I've designed for the company, so I tell him he's the only one seeing that, which is true. He refused to use iCab, because he's "never heard of it".

The reason I asked was, I was uploading brochure to an online printer from my Tiger G5 and it wouldn't work. According to them, I needed Explorer. Found out it wasn't available and was stunned that they couldn't accept work from a freaking Mac. Stunned, livid, same difference.
Haven't played with Firefox but I will.
