Too many layers of CSR's and agencies between me and the end user and most of them have no idea what the job looks like anyway its all just a game of pass the parcel, funny sometimes when I have to phone end user to clear up an issue and can't even mention company name in case they decide to cut out the middle men, but at least they can't find me when things go wrong

One of my favorite clients sends me a huge slab of Hersheys chocolate every Christmas. In addition, they send me more praise than I've ever heard from anyone here. I know I'm just doing my job, but it's so nice to be appreciated!

I usually tell a salesperson or CSR to tell customer to send donuts.
That's about it.

I had a client give me a half rack of Corona, with limes. I have received gift certificates to nice restaraunts, invites to golf tournaments, ski lift tickets, fruit baskets, and I had one gal ask me to go get a room with her at a local motel, I passed on that one. I wonder if that would be considered pro-bono. :?

If I was a Pro Boner I would not be in this forum, I would probably be making a movie right now.

Yeah, gotta admit, I was wondering that too: either she looks like your avatar, or ...
You can't tell me it was professionalism.

Don't tell me that she looked like my avatar and you still told her no. I have to admit though, I would have to say no too, I don't want to lose what I have. We may not have sex but she is still the best thing that ever happened to me.
