I put a Stone Roses CD in my car (Second coming) expecting to change it after a couple of weeks - still had it playing a year later.
Sad but true.

...wanted to throw this out there for you folks that like new music....

Matisyahu.

...a hasidic Jew from NY that is a Reggae MC. He got a chance to be on stage with Trey from Phish at Bonaroo in 05, the next night when he came to do his set, he found 10,000+ people waiting because they had liked him so much. His influences vary from Bob Marley to the Beastie Boys, to Phish to Rick James. His newest album releases this week on march 7th Youth is expected to debut in the top ten Billboard Charts. His 2nd album in 2004 Shake off the dust... Arise is a masterpiece and already being dubbed a classic. and his 1st release Live at Stubbs is an ironic little ditty recorded live at a BBQ "pork" shack in Austin, TX... Just thought I'd share... enjoy.

edit.. looks as if I labeled these wrong. Shake off the Dust... Arise, is his first album. Live at Stubbs came after. sorry. ops: :P

but you can sample two songs from the album Youth here
