My first real concert was Trooper. If anybody has even heard of them. I've seen a ton of live shows but the best ones are the small venue shows. As for favourite bands well...The Replacements, Husker Du, The jam, Jazz Butcher, 54.40, Tragically Hip, Groundhogs, Hot Tuna, Can, Spirit of the West, UFO, Grobschnitt, and about a thousand others. Like a lot of people my musical tastes are all over the map.

right on prepress rabbit. small venues are the best...i never go to arena shows. i like to actually watch the performers play, up close. plus, id rather drop $20 on a small venue show than the $50 or more to go see an arena show. what is u2 charging these days?

Best concert's I've been to: Beach Boys in early 80s, Def Leppard Hysteria tour, Beastie Boys w/RUN DMC, Metallica when the black album came out (saw them again later and not nearly as good), Newsboys and Audio Adrenaline.

About the only thing I can't stand listening to is the new Hip Hop RAP crap. There's some great newer country music (sounds more like rock), Christian music and Hawaiian (KCCN FM 100 Honolulu - listen online). I too enjoy a wide variety I guess. Sometimes listen to 80s, classic rock or even 50's music - good ol' fashion Rock n Roll!

Current MP3s in iTunes library include: Dead Milkmen, Toby Keith, Iron Maiden, Audio Adrenaline, Kenny Chesney, Ho'o'nua', Van Zant and When In Rome. Good variety eh?

"Nine Inch Nails" (Oct. 2006) was the best concert I've ever attended! And I always try to catch "They Might Be Giants" when they're in town.

I also support local bands. My cousin, Patricia, is singer/bass player in a band called "The Shapes". They're awesome! www.myspace.com/theshapes
