Why does Prepress_brillance_43 get hell from some...

Well?

I am not the only one posting a lot everyday, but you called me out.

So why?

Why is the original topic locked?

Anyway, I vaguely remember that post that ruffled a few feathers - something that was taken as a racial comment, but was just a factual observation if I remember correctly... it was deleted before most people could read it.

My only point: If it weren't for prepress_brilliance43 I would get very bored and would most likely spend less time here.

Now, somebody post something funny so I can get my mind off of prepress work for a few more minutes

Yeah, we need a regular poster... someone a little better than me.

A guy goes over to his friend's house, rings the bell, and the wife answers.

" Hi, is Tony home?"
" No, he went to the store."
"Well, you mind if I wait?"
" No, come in."

They sit down and the friend says "You know Nora, you have the greatest breasts I have ever seen. I'd give you a hundred bucks if I could just see one."

Nora thinks about this for a second and figures what the hell - a hundred bucks. She opens her robe and shows one. He promptly thanks her and throws a hundred bucks on the table.

They sit there a while longer and Chris says "They are so beautiful I've got to see the both of them. I'll give you another hundred bucks if I could just see the both of them together."

Nora thinks about this and thinks what the hell, opens her robe, and gives Chris a nice long look. Chris thanks her, throws another hundred bucks on the table, and then says he can't wait any longer and leaves.

A while later Tony arrives home and his wife says "You know, your weird friend Chris came over. "

Tony thinks about this for a second and says "Well did he drop off the 200 bucks he owes me?"

Everyone who posts puts themselves out there. If you put a bunch of superfulous content out there, eventually you are going to get "called on it". This goes for everyone, not just Brilliance. This is the lounge, where many things can be discussed. But there is a acceptable limit to what "should" be discussed. And posting just to post detracts from the overall quality of the site and the information contained therein. Some fun here and there is fine, I play here too. But real, useful, information is what PPF is all about.

Hey, it's cool to play and goof off. But not when it detracts from the real work that is to be done.

I'm not pointing fingers at any one person, I'm not saying any of this as a moderator of the site. This is my own opinion. Had I seen the thread myself, I would have shut it down too. Be more concerned with the quality of the info you expouse, not the quantity.

What you say here is your reputation here after all.[/b]

I have posted in response to prepress_novice_10 (year old) twice, the first time was a question about how to edit a post and got an answer and then brushed off by him. Second time was to pay him a complement which he replied with a rant. That?s OK, I?ll try again when he?s older and wiser !!!
I think Prepress should remember that this site has attracted some of the best people in the world in our field and I for one miss some of minds that used to post on a regular basis.
We all like a laugh and enjoy witty comments but not inane crap just for the sake of it.
Just my ?1000 worth !!!!!

P.S. I?ll bet he?s a last word freak
