Big day tomorrow!

Americans,

I hope you realise who you vote for tomorrow will probably affect the future of the world as we know it (or knew it).

But if you have bothered to consider what the rest of the world thinks then I can assure you that the majority outside of the US don't want Bush to win. After all, it is our world too.

On your conscience be it!

I've been working the phones for Kerry. In the office today, then back again Tuesday, maybe a little poll watching as well.
My conscience is clear.

I guess you'd like to give Tony Blair the boot as well Bart. I for one am staying the course and voting for Bush. I wanted to give Kerry a chance to change my mind but Kerry hasn't given one concrete answer to just how he intends to do a better job and he changes his stance every day it seems. Just a lot of hot air and no substance. Bush may not be perfect but at least we know where and what he stands for. I like everyone with a conscience hate war but we will not be bullied and I for one will never forget 9/11, living in New Jersey it's just to close to home.

I agree with you, almaink! Anyone who looks at Kerry's voting record in the Senate has to wonder what he stands for. Not to mention his post-Vietnam war testimonials. If you stand for nothing, you'll fall for anything.

And no offense, Bart, but I don't tell citizens of other countries (or even my own country) how they should vote, and you shouldn't either. When Blair is up for re-election, you can either vote for him or not. It's completely your own business. Would you want us Yanks telling you for whom you should cast your ballot?

Yeah politics (sarcasm).

1) goto http://www.factcheck.org (thanks to Dick Cheney) to get the real facts.
2) People who think Kerry is full of hot air have only been reading and listening to conservative views. Rush Limbaugh is not a good source of the truth, folks. I will also say this for for Mike Moore and the dozens of other media folks conservative and liberal. Kerry and Bush and their administrations have a lot of substance to them and if you don't know that, you aren't doing the proper research.
3) Don't tell citizens of other countries how they should vote? Uhm, when the U.S. affects the world, other countries are affected too. They have a right to their oppinion and expressing it. Last time I saw, Germany, Russia, U.K. and Isareal have endorsed candidates in the U.S. And we are telling people how to vote as Americans around the world and domestically. Are you upset that Germany has supported Kerry and are you equally upset that Russia is supporting Bush? There is more to the world than the center of the North American continent and we need to take a good hard look at that.
4) 9/11 has hit all Americans, Conservative, Liberal and Non Partisan across the country. The idea that one side doesn't care as much as the other about it is a bunch of B.S.

Time will only tell which way we should have gone. I myself don't like either candidate. Both are run by the power of money. I've done my research long and hard, hours of reading both sides and non partisan reports, have any of you?
If you haven't, you should know who's blowing the hot air now.

Sorry almaink, I have no clue where and what Bush stands for except for some misguided revenge scenario between his father and Hussein. I do know he hates democrats and independants. We're not allowed to hear him speak publicly. I really don't think he's fond of the poor and elderly much either. And God does he hate the environment.
I'm voting for Kerry, he's been my Sen. for many years and he really does give a rats ass about the middle class Americans in this country.
But regardless of how much I loathe GW Bush, to the point where i can't even look at him on TV, I hate people who don't vote more. This pussy whining attitude "I don't like either of them". Grow up. This is important. There are freaking lives at stake.

Not to ruffle feathers but Kerry's voting record as a Senator is down right criminal. And he has an attendance record to match. As for caring for the middle class, I don't think any of them really do, or the poor for that matter. Rich people, and that includes Bush and Kerry, only care about making more money for themselves. But we agree on the important thing Pointy, if you don't vote you are a bad American, and have no right to bitch.

Ah well, it was worth a try......

Yes, next year it will be our turn to get rid of that slimey greasepole Blair.

I do agree with the people here critising those who don't vote. Personally I would like to see a 'None of the above' option on all ballot papers. Then there is no excuse.

In the UK if you don't like any of the main parties you always have The Monster Raving Loony Party http://www.omrlp.com/
