Prepress Operator Needed

We are looking for a FT/PT Prepress Operator. Experience is required. Strong working knowledge of both Creative Suites is needed. Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work and talk to pressman is also required.

Experience with RAMpage and Preps would be nice, but not required.

Benefits include: Medical, Profit Sharing, Paid Vacation and Holidays.
Pay: DOE

Sound like a great job at a pretty good location, and I'll bet you'll pay well, but that talk'in to the pressman crap totally "X's" the whole thing.

I gotta admit...that "talking to the pressman" line was one of the best I've seen in a while....I chuckled at that one.

How exactly can you word something like that into a resume? It's almost like that scene from airplane...."excuse me stewardess, I speak jive".

Through the years I've found that communicating with the pressmen is by far the best working relationship. If you give the impression that you care that the job will go smoothly for the pressmen they will make it easier on prepress, making it more of a teamwork atmosphere instead of butting heads. Same for the bindery.
