Hiring For Prepress in Maryland

I'm acting as a go-between for this position, but I'll gladly field any questions I can answer, or put any interested applicants in touch with our HR person directly. That being said, here are the basics:

Medium-sized Commercial shop located in Annapolis, Maryland seeking 2nd shift prepress operator.

Must be proficient in current layout apps (Quark, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) with prior working knowledge of Preps and/or Brisque being a plus.

Duties would include Prep of jobs coming from the preflighting department, processing through Brisque client to RIP, Trap etc. then proofing to various devices and creation of PDF files for clients when required. Environment is fast-paced, although the 2nd shift is less so than the daytime.

I can't really shed any light on the pay scale, but again - that can be addressed with the HR department if there's an interest.

If I forgot anything, just pummel me for answers and I'll fill in the blanks.

All sheetfed, no plans that I know of to go to web or anything else. 40" presses mostly, 6/c and a few smaller 2/c presses as well.

There's a "digital dept' also, running an Indigo & some large-format jobs, but they're fully staffed as far as I know.

More than willing to relocate.
Am I worth considering?

I'm just joking. We just got our Oneflow installed this week. I don't think the boss-man would be very happy if I went out and got a new job on him.

Oops, I never even saw the post from haggis! ops:

Relocating would be a matter for you to consider, I doubt that there's any kind of moving compensation to be had from The Company.

If either of you would like the HR contact info though, just PM me & I'll gladly pass it along.
