Dolev4Press cutting head will not return

Hi everyone!

My Dolev4Press cutting head will not return to the home position. The error is "the cutter isn't in the HP". Where can I go in the utilities and make the motor return it to the left? I restart the Machine and it still will not return to the Home Position. Please help!

If I can remember...
F6 for Utilities
Film
Cut media

If that doesn't work, try (GENTLY) operating the cut mechanism back to origin.

In the Service Utilities...under the Machine tab...under Motors...activate the cutter motor to move left. I've had the same problem in the last 6 months and it turned out that there was a sensor that was knocked out of position from removing a jam. Its a sensor that is hidden in a hard to reach place...you have to remove the bridge to the processor...then a few metal plates...it was very hard to get at but it just needed to be clicked back in place. If you're standing in front looking at the control panel it is on the lefthand side. I'm not much of a tech guy...Good luck!
