2-sided printing with Prinergy

good morning,

we are currently in the process of setting up our InSite server with Prinergy, and have developed some workflows using Upload Processing. Part of one of the scenarios we are considering is having a dedicated 2-sided printing device for a large account of ours, at which any pdf files they send us will they send us will automatically spit out a backed up proof. the files they send will be refined, trapped pdf files from Prinergy, 2 seperate pdfs, one for each side of the piece.

we have a spinjet in prepress, but that is too much for what we require in this case. we are considering an 11 x 17 high-end laser proofer that might be able to accomplish this, or i am open for suggestions from other prinergy users who might be doing something similar.

We have a Xerox Phaser 7750 that we use for small (9x12 or smaller) automated backed up proofs through Prinergy. If you need a 11x17 backup you have to do a manually flip with this device. Quality and reliablility have been very good.
