PREPS jobs flushing

Just started getting flushing/error on jobs today. Colleague managed to get one out by creating fresh Template. Can't replicate it this evening. Error is
/CIDFontName
{PrepsSepDict /p_Separator get 2 eq {userdict /languagelevel}}
false
1. Does this tell anyone out there what it might be?
2. What safe things can I do to tidy up? Should I install Cocktail/Cache Out X and clean font caches? Would a Repair Permissions help? It's a shared machine running proofing+PREPS, so don't want to blow anything up under the hood.
Recently got a relieving guru to change us over to 5.2.1. Have tried doing the job on the old 5.1.2, but no luck. We've been running the new one for 3-4 weeks, no worries. :?

With the new Preps 5.2.1 update that we have posted, we have also posted a new Migration Utility for both Mac and Windows to fix the problem you had run into. This migration utility is version 1.5 Build 7.

Still welcome any input, though. Shall try and contact local Kodak guy tomorrow (our time). He was pretty good on the last problem.

Hmm...this could look embarrassing, but the reply rate on Kodak is pretty low so I'm gonna risk it and update...
Culprit was a PDF page placed in Quack (6.52), which had a properly embedded CID font; it preflighted OK. I stupidly ignored Quack's warning about it, and then promptly didn't twig in PREPS, cos PREPS failed the whole job; all sigs/sides. Workaround was to PostScript out of Quack without it, then place PDF straight into PREPS, move to Run List on appropriate page. Then all OK.
This means, I guess, that you would never be able to print PS out of quack with a PDF of this kind. Must try and do the same with it out of Indy CS2.
Weird...or maybe not.
