Preps collation marks in pdf native

When working in PDF-->PDF mode in Preps, is there a way to get collation marks on the template? This is for jobs that are perfect bound.

The last time I checked, it didn't seem possible because you can't make a pdf version of collation mark eps files. But we've recently upgraded to Preps 5.2, so I was wondering if any solutions or clever workarounds have been discovered.
