Preps Marks and Brisque 5
i have run into a dilema, that perhaps one of you experts can shed some light on. i am a new user of the brisque, and not familiar with it yet.
i have a color bar that we frequently use on one of our presses. we dont generally have much space left on the plate for a color bar, so i am creating a bar with a white knockout box beneath it, so when needed, it will knockout the image beneath it. the mark is an illustrator eps file, and the knockout box is simply a rectangle with a fill of 0,0,0,0.
my spinjet proofs look fine, but the brisque just isnt recognizing a color of 0,0,0,0. is there a method i should be using when saving my color bar with knockout that will provide me with the desired effect, or is this strictly a bisque is and there isnt much i can do about it? i come from a rampage background, where this was never an issue, so im confused how the brisque sees color.
thanks in advance,
cr
