Intel macs and the Brisque client

we bought a new imac core duo/intel chip for our preflighter.... We are assuming that the brisque client will not work with the new chip, any workarounds??? I have contacted kodak, heard nothing from them as of yet...

It should still work, just a little slower. The Rosetta technology will take care of the translation to the new Intel chip.

actually, I just got off the phone with creo... The do have an issue with the intel based macs. We were told we need to install the brisque 5.1 update, apparently creo is going to release a patch within the next month that will address this issue, but we have to be at the 5.1 level for it to work.

Today I received my upgrades to Preps v5.2.0 and in the package they've included a "Last Minute Release Notes" pamphlet. On the IFC, it states "Preps 5.2 has been validated for use on the new Intel Core Duo Macintosh platforms."
