edge of plate to edge of sheet

We are installing a Screen 8600, driven by Nexus 8.1. and using Preps 5.1.4 for our imposition. I am setting up the the position for the different plate sizes and presses.
I have centering worked out, but I need to know where to input "edge of plate to edge of sheet" in preps. Right now, everything is centering on the "Y" , (or veritcally).
In short I need a constant measurement for my platebend and gripper, no matter what sheet size.
Thanks

We had to set up a different device for each press since they all use different plate sizes and the platebend and gripper are different for each press. The pressmen told us how far the center marks needed to be from the leading edge and we adjusted the value to place it there.

Yep, that is the same here. Use dotspy to mesure you 1bit tiff to make sure you have it the correct place be for you make test plates. Save waste and time.

thanks for the input, but...

I have a different device for each press, but i need where to input the offset for the different sheet sizes on that same press. In other words, I want the sheet to start at the same spot no matter what sheet I run.
Thanks

we use 2 different offsets for "Distance from Press Sheet Edge to Punch Center" .
1 for the 40" presses and a different one for our small sm52.
