Preps text marks

I have just become a Prinergy user and have been using Preps within Agfa Apogee for the last 4 years.

When I create new templates in Preps 5.1.2 and add text marks using the string $jobname $sig $side the sig number and side crashes into the job name.

We did not have this issue with Preps 4 and were using the same string configuration.

I am sure there is a very simple answer to this but I cant find it.

Can anybody help.

A few ?'s Come to mind......

What is the length of the text Box? Have you placed commas between the Mark Callouts? Could there a font problem here?

Work out your max jobname length and add in a heap of spaces between $jobname and the next $.

Crappy but works for me.......

We had the same problem on Creo workflow - instead of text mark use Flat Identifyer.
