Qxd 6 with Duotone won't preview in PREPs 5.

Preps appears to be struggling with Duotones placed in Quark.

I have a Doutone image (Photoshop EPS) placed on a quark page. The page has been exported using PXT 4.0. The exported ps file is added to a new Preps job. If the page is selected in the run list (only one page added) and the preview button pressed, PREPS starts the preview "Print Status" window with a progress bar.

Step 1. Checking to make sure the required file are available.
Step 2. Header optimizations.
Step 3. Document Header.
Printing then appears to hang.

The file doesn't preview after 20mins. Is there any known issues when working with Duotone images??
What should be tried to get this file to preview??

The duotone is a Photoshop EPS (Blk + PMS 208). I tried PXT exports from both Quark 4 (PXT 3.3) & Quark 6.1 (PXT 4.0). It may be just this one Duo, I'll have to try some more file conbinations, just wondering if it's something obvious.
