Lotem 800 Quantum - Heat output??

We have an ongoing battle with the management of the company i work for regarding the constant heat changes in our room.

Basically whenever the Lotem is running for more than 30 mins, the temperature rockets and becomes almost unbearable. In the room they have two bottom of the range wall mounted aircon-dehumidifiers, and they clearly havent been upto the job for years.

So we demanded they got it assessed to find out what we need (better heat extraction would be a start!) - but they need to know the heat output of the Lotem... (??)

I've scoured the website and checked info PDF's, looked through all our manuals and i cant find anything.

Is this likely to be something i can find anywhere??

Creo's equipment is very, very sensitive to temperature and humidity. For a room to become 'unbearable' after 30 minutes of running tells me you have the Lotem in a small room with inadequate ventilation. I can't tell you what temperature the Lotem emits but can tell you that the higher up's need to invest in a thermostat and some ventilation/environmental control.

As an additional point, it may not be the Lotem causing your environmental problems.

Are you using a Thermal Plate that requires a Pre-heat and/or post bake oven? If so, I'd make sure that these devices are equipped with some sort of external venting hood.

From the Creo website, the operating range of the Lotem is 68 to 80 Degrees F. and humidity range of 40% - 60%.

If it's unbearable in the room, you're probably outside the manufacturer's spec's as well. Get a $20 temp/humidity gauge, and then work on the big guy to meet the required environmental specs!

Good Luck!
