Rampage

We might be selling our Rampage v9. For how much? I don't know yet. But I would like to get a feel for interested people. Any questions?

I'm sure we will be selling the hardware as well. The shooter is the original box, a few years old, the Rip box is about a year and a half old, dual prosscesor, pretty dang fast. I believe we're 9.4. What I need to do is talk to my boss and confirm we are getting rid of it, and if you are interesed, I'll give you all the specs. And believe me, I'll be sad to see it go!

sorry to hear that. I'm betting your in the situation I am now. Actually considering changing to get a better deal on new hardware. I really REALLY don't want to do it, just opens up to many cans of worms all at once. However I can see the economics in it if it's 70K to get a platesetter with a complete front end or it's 68K to get a plate setter then another 8K to update the RAMpage to the current version just to get the new shooter.

Post up the configs when ya get them. www.bob-weber.com has some older RAMpage stuff that you can use as a ball park for asking prices.

Hmmmmmmmmm switching for 6k? I'd think that for that 6k the Kodak front end is going to cost you more than that in a short period of time with the issues that will crop up (notice the word - will, not maybe).

If you do the switch let me know how it all panned, I'd be curious ........ and i promise i won't say i told you so.

I'll take your Rampage toys if you don't want to play with them anymore.

6K?

You're gonna pay that in 6-months Prinergy support alone.
