Cool In Rip Seps and Blank Pages

Does anyone have a idea how to turn on blank pages in Indy when using In-Rip Seps? I'm using a PPD produced from a Artworks System workflow.
Thanks in advance

I'm not really familiar with Artwork Systems, but 2 ways you may want to "trick" the app into thinking the page is not blank.
1. place a text box somewhere on the page and type a few characters, then change the color of the type to Paper.
2. place a graphic or text box on the pasteboard (make sure there is something in it) and make sure the image or type is outside the bleed area but at the same time make sure the box is touching the page slightly.
I assume your trying to produce some kind of book with a blank inside cover or blank pages?
I have used these steps before to our Harlequin RIP and it keeps the blank page, not as any one color, but just blank.

hope that helps

Thanks Sparky

That is what we do now, but it is a real pain to go through the whole doc and if we miss one it screws up our run list in Preps.
Thanks

I've never even noticed that it became unavailable when you go to In-Rip seperations, I surfed the web for an answer but it doesnt seem that anyone even knows much about it. Assuming its "In-Rip" ID might assume that the RIP would translate it? I wonder if your RIP is kicking out the blank pages rather then Indesign?? Just throwing some ideas out there.

And if you want to add white objects to the pages like you are doing now, rather then missing a page like you do now, can you put something that will allow the page to print and perhaps put it on a master Page so it applied to all pages for you?

Thanks bg
Does not seem to be a answer for this one. It's just a minor annoyance.
Seems as though Quark has one up on Indy on this one, (That is the first and probably last thing Q will have).

Blank page

Build a graphicbox page size, fill with nothing, stroke with black, make black 0%.
