file names for multiple versions

why does indesign give me the wrong name of the file everytime i want to export a pdf? Our designers will build a page with a name. Then they will crate multiple versions of that same page with slightly different info in them ( phone numbers, SKUs etc) and they will name the ID file correctly but when I want to export to a pdf the name that automaticly populates the name field is not correct. Its driving me nuts!!!!

by default it always uses the last name it was exported to.. I would prefer it always reverts to the indesign document name as well
