CS3 Problem

Just got CS3 and got the following message
"Save as PDF and Save PDF as Postscript options in Printer Dialog are not supported"

We save PDF as PS to our rip. This showed up on my Intel Dual-Core running 10.4.10 but it did not show up on G5 running 10.4.10.

Anybody else run into ANY problems with CS3 yet? I have checked all other settings between the two machines and havent found anything yet.

I can see you had no replies - did you ever resolve this as we seem to have the same problem? - also certain ppds are grayed out in the list when printing - strange as some of the macs are fine. I'll look into whether the working / not working ones are dual-core or not.

What ppd are you using when you get the not supported message?
Is it any ppd?
Are you printing across a network or trying to write .ps local?

Using CS3 I've been printing to .ps > distilling to PDF all along with no problems.
I know it's not much help.... sorry.

Also, did you repair permissions before and/or after installing?

Look in the Help I found we had the problem and the answer was there.
Basically you go to print, then select Postscript as your device, make the normal selections (seps, flip, crops, etc..) then the "print becomes a "save" button.

Look in the Help file under Print to postscript it's all there.
