Wow, did OSX hold your family pet down & force it into some unnatural sexual perversions in front of your children or something?
I'm a fan of sweeping generalizations as much as the next guy but this thread has nothing to do with the useless Mac vs. PeeCee flamefest.

hehe, nice replys, im gonna tell you why I dont like mac osx
The network sharing is crazy, with windows you can browse a users computer, look at all there shares and use the folder WITHOUT MOUNTING, mac osx insists on mounted every single folder you want to use. Also, if you alias that folder and reconnect later, 9/10 times I get a "fix alias error". Bottom line, windows kills osx when it comes to network sharing, try it and you will see what I mean.
Second is printers, the driver interfaces written for windows are a lot easier to use than mac osx.
Third, there are tons more useful freeware apps written for windows than mac.
Fourth, as soon as apple stops whoring itself to intel then you will need to buy your apps again, what kind of company makes you rebuy all your software because they changed there internal chipset architecture?
Fifth, I wanted to start an argument in this thread and get the record for most posts.
These are just some gripes I have, I brought a brand new 17" macbook pro, a G5 and an Imac, and found that I can use a windows os machine a lot quicker than I can with osx.
also, ive tried vista and it suxs too.

First...false. Macs mounts the share only. Not every folder you use. If you're getting an error when you try to re-connect you have some other problem, I don't get those errors. I kind of like having the share mounted on the desktop. It beats the hell out of having to open a full blown Windows exporer window everytime I want to acces the share.
Second...I use both Windows and Macs and personally don't have a problem with either interface. You're entitled to your opinion but maybe you should explain what you don't like about the Mac printer driver interface.
Third...and viruses, worms, trojans etc...they're free too. You get what you pay for.
Fourth....It's called progress. And you UPGRADE, not purchase the same software again. Just like Windows.
Fifth...you should really post some facts if you want to get that post count up.
I do agree that Vista sucks in the .0 release but it will get better.

Up next....
Max is going to tell us why we should go back to using carburetors instead of fuel-injection on our cars.
