Where are colour profiles
i have to copy some colour profiles (Indesign) from on mac to another.
normally i don't work with indesign profiles as i set up my colours the way i like anyway.
however, this time, we have to assign profiles to documents. one computer has them, but i can't find them. even when i make a search on the hard drive. they are not even in indesign -> edit -> color settings.
only in indesign -> edit -> assign profiles
any help.
thanks, Dimitri

Hmmm, that's where mine are! Try putting them in the Recommended folder that is in that same location. Also, make sure you quit and relaunch InDesign to make sure it sees them.
There's also a ColorSync folder on your user Library - you could try putting them there as well.

thanks for looking into this guys.
however, i tried this. looked there and looked here.
what i would like to do, is to take a profile from menu -> edit -> assign profile (when you click there on the pop up menu, you see different profiles), and those i am looking for. they are not on the hard drive as such. make a "find" on the hard drive, no success.
when i create a new profile in photoshop, i can see it in menu -> edit -> color settings. however, when i want to assign those settings to a image placed in indesign, this profile is not available.
that's where i get stuck.
thanks, dimitri

/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Color/Profiles/Recommended/ is where the profiles go.
The .csf files for the color settings go into for all users to share:
/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Color/Settings/
