I open the Publisher files with Publisher running in Virtual PC (talk about a painful process) then I print to PDF, from there I alter the PDF, typically I drop the PDF page/pages into one InDesign document, then use Pitstop to delete items that the idio..err uhhh Client wants changed and recreate the elements in the indesign file. Cumbersome but works well for me. It also gets those little jobs in and out that would otherwise have been lost.

Yep, thank goodness for Distiller still working on our old,virus-prone PC "workstation"... Then we jury-rig the PDF using Pitstop and InDesign.
BY THE WAY, notice we say InDesign and not Quark... apparently we've all noticed that PDFs seem to flatten and rip better in InD than QXP.... perhaps it's an Adobe thing.
Don't forget to collect extra charges! They "saved" so much time and money using the secretaries PC instead of a pro designer... and a cut of that should be yours!
