Screen angels for duo tones

Hey I have a spot PMS 2578 and PMS 1235 that they are printing as a duo tone. How can I asign screen angles. I want the PMS 2578 to have the Black ( I think this is the default anyways and I want to change the PMS 1235 to the magfenta screen angle. Any help appriciated.

hate doing this but very easy in Quark. maybe easy but cant seem to find were.

thanks

Our workflow is controlled at the RIP, we don't specify out of the app. so this may not help......

What PPD are you using? I set INDD to Adobe PDF 7.0 - selected In-RIP Seps, then click on the PANTONE color you want to change and set your desired number in the "Angle" box at the bottom of the window...
Hope this helps.

on my rip i have a setting to "override screen angles in job" - this will ignore the default software angles meaning the RIP as opposed to the software handles this.

also with this you can assign screen angles for spot colours as well - so matching another colour's angle is easy

Could you tell in the print dialog ink manager to print one pms as black and the other pms as magenta then tell the pressmen to use the correct colors. Thats what they did at my shop before i got here.

Refer to this link....
It's not explained how to do it w/ delta... but it's a start in the right direction. Try sending prepress_scott a PM, he could probably help.
