default "place" setting

Is there a way to make the default for placing pictures to be "Crop" instead of "Bounding Box"?...

Can you explain more about what you are asking? I thought crop and bounding box were the same thing.

For me it always seems to default back to the last setting. If you do nothing but
Crop, it should stay there for you. I don't know of a way to do it though as a
default.

Brian, it's on of the Import Options in InDesign, how you'd like the artwork edges
defined when it's Placed into ID.

yea, sorry about that.. InDesignCS. when placing an image, the import options. if you close the program and open it back up it defaults to "bounding box" I want it to ALWAYS be imported as "crop". I cannot find a way to make that the default, and I think Im just out of luck with this one. oh well, thanks guys..
