Strokes to Paths

Where do I convert strokes to paths?
I can't seem to find this anywhere?

In Illustrator goto pull down menu ( Object----path---outline stroke )

I don't think you can convert a stroke to outline in ID, only in Illy.

I meant that's false that it's not available in ID.

InDesign can NOT convert a stroke to outlines like you can in Illustrator. If you must export the page as an .eps file and modify it in Illustrator and re-import it back to ID.

I looke everywhere, checked the help forum on Adobe's web site, and as far as I can see, ID can't do this on it's own.

Thanks Sparky, I went through the same scenario and came to the same conclusion.
