Anybody have problems creating eps's in CS?

Yo experts!

Back again from the sanitarium!
Question for y'all...
I just installed InDesign CS today and had my first job (rush of course!) but when I made an eps like I've done countless other times in ID, some of the images were missing! I thought it was maybe rampage not working well with IDCS but I tried to make a PDF straight out of IDCS and they were missing also...So ? I placed the eps in Quark to see if they were there and of course they weren't. Then I tried embedding them but nope, still missing. I ended up having to replace the images manually, which I really love to mess with a customer's file, and it worked. I don't want to have to do this for every customer's job that comes in the door...has anybody else had this problem and know of the fix???

Thanks in advance! (This is me... 8O working in InDesign)

I've been using Indesign CS with Rampage for a while and everything has been working great..

you sure you didn't have OPI turned on or anything? were you creating fat eps to send through rampage?

Re: Anybody...

I tried both ways...include images and OPI. Both times didn't work. I thought at first it was a Rampage issue but eliminated Rampage when the images didn't show up when I made a PDF straight from IDCS and viewed it in Acrobat without Rampage. Never had it happen before. Strange thing is that this was a 2 page document that had the same Illustrator eps (CS) placed on both pages and one of them came out and the other didn't. If I did a copy and paste it worked.

I don't know, maybe it was just a fluke and I won't run into it again...

Just a few questions to try and clarify what's going on --other than Cory's non-printing items idea (does the document display ok, with Overprint preview on and in Preview Mode (press W on keyboard)?

Are the Image Links for all OK? I.e. no missing images?
What image types (format, colourmode etc) are you using?
What transparency blend space are you using?
What settings are you using in the Export EPS dialog box?
In the Export EPS dialog box, do you have TIFF preview enabled?
What happens if you change the transparency setting for one of the images that is missing to 99.9%?

I've just tested this with eps files, tiff files, photoshop files, jpegs and pdf images... All came out fine in the EPS created from InDesign cs (tested on Windows XP)
