Copying clipping paths in CS2?

I'm wondering if it's possible to copy the clipping path from a placed image for use as an independant object to color or fill with text etc. I've been trying it for an hour now and can't seem to do it. I end up having to draw an new path over the clipping path of the placed image. Anyone have any ideas?

~ciao,

Yeah, right mouse click (control click) on your image with a path and drag down to "Convert path to a frame". Then select the image with the direct selection tool and delete it. All that will be left is the frame. Now you can fill it or whatever.
You may want to duplicate your image first so you don't lose it.

Cheers,
David
