Tri-fold brochure in InDesign CS?

Hello to all you Prepress Gurus!

I am new to InDesign and this is probably a simple question for you:

I would like to set up a mini tri-fold brochure (2-sided, 4,5" x 5.5").

How would I go about this?

Thank you!

Carina

Here is a good page for calculating folds. Remember that the back side
panels will go in the reverse direction.

Thank you for the link it will definitly come in handy, but I was wondering if I would need to set-up 1 page (say 13.5 x 5.5) or would I need to set up 3 pages in InDesign for a tri-fold?

Looking forward to your reply,
thank you

Carina

I would setup your document as 1 page per side. So you would have 2 pages in your InDesign document. Page 1 for the outside and Page 2 for the inside.

Your dimensions for the outside should be this

4.4375 | 4.5 | 4.5

Your dimensions for the inside should be this

4.5 | 4.5 | 4.4375
