How do you reverse a 16 page layout

I recently recived a 16 page book. Indesighns document layout already had it imposed in to pages (IE:front cover/back cover , page 2/page 15). i needed to restrip it into a quark document for my imposer program. Is there a way to change it back to a single page at a time layout?

The book was also a two color job that was in CMYK instead of spot colors. Is there an easy way to convert the chanels without changeing every graphic individualy?

thanks

Save the file as a pdf, import/move/resize as needed. Careful what version, however - not sure if quark handles the newest one.

As far as the colors - no magic bullet, sorry. Personally, I'd shoot the job back to the client and say, "WRONG!" I love to hear them whimper.

I guess you mean the pages are in "spreads", so go to the pages pallet and select "keep spreads together" (in this case you'd be unselecting it) in the drop down dialog box (the little triangle on the pallet) this should release all the pages to single pages. If they have any kind of "auto pagination" applied to them this will have to be handled by making each and every page a "New Section Start" again under the same dialog box.

Once you have single pages you can rearrange them in any fashion you desire.

(but why go to Quark from ID?? :? :? :? )

some people just don't understand

Sounds to me that the best solution for importing into Quark is to export from Indesign as EPS and place them in Quark. PDF into Quark can be quite troublesome especially when directly exporting the PDF from ID.
