Traps

Help, we have a problem with a file comming over to the Brisque that only traps half the type. It is four color, silver and overprint black. We are making a k/o of most of the black and the 4/c type except for some shadows that will overprint. One paragraph traps the next one doesn't . THe black type traps and the 4/c type won't. Got any ideas? PLEASE!

How and where are you doing the trapping? I have found sometimes with ID you need to open the Attributes pallet and manually set overprint or KO values. I have seen black text overprint and KO on the same page using default settings.

Thanks for your reply, Almaink. The guys finally figured out they had to click overprint after sending the file about 10 times. SOMETIMES!!!!
