No MacIntel here, but the Ad Agency my wife works for had LOTS of problems w/ CS2 on Intel. Crashes & freezes etc.
They are working over a network also, to an XServe running 10.4. Macs running 10.4 too.

Kinda.. they're running CS3 now.
It seems to be going better on the new Intel Macs.
I haven't checked in with them lately.. but I will. I let you know.

I'm hoping someone comes up with an alternative, were pretty locked into CS2 right now with upstream and downstream workflows, and havent really test drove CS3 yet.

Thanks for the info Vee

I don't recall having a problem yet.
The only time I recall having any problems with Illustrator is due to font corruption and the app not wanting to boot up.
I've been using the Intel iMac for at least six months now. I really try and beat this thing up too. I can't complain.

I haven't had any problems, but the CS2 applications as a whole seem to run much
slower on the Intel processors than CS3 does. I've had so few problems opening
CS2 files in CS3 that I seem to rarely need CS2 any more. Maybe I'm just lucky.

I get the quitting problem with Quark only. I don't see how an app can unexpectedly quit out of quitting.
