Tiger 10.4.8, Rosetta, Illy CS2, iMac Intel
...hello everyone, new to the forum so hoping you prepress gurus are a friendly bunch...

...anybody have trouble with Illy CS2 running through Tiger 10.4.8 on Mac Intel?

...it seems to crash randomly on my machine, either in the background or particularly when I want to use the knife tool...

...apart from this Mac on Intel sings gracefully at speed!

Try reading this PDF from Adobe (on page 6, it sounds like what you're experiencing).

I have this exact setup and haven't (knock on formica) had any trouble yet.

...well, well, well!! Thank you guys for the help, going back to 10.4.7 would be an annoyance really, will use the hide appearance palette solution for now, hoping they bring an update out for CS2 12.01 to put this to rest...

...mind you that update will likely cause other bugs to rear their ugly heads and then the only solution to those would be...

....CS3 13.666!!! :twisted:
