saving workspace

hello.
i have illy on pc at home and when working i can save my workspace.
the arrangement of palletes is the most important for me because i have a different one activated when i do illustrations and a different one when i m designing a logo lets say.
so thats in pc, how do i do that in the apple environment?
in pc its located at window/workspace/save workspace.
i found something in illy help but it seemed to complicated and i thought i would ask before trying some fancy stuff on the i-mac at work
thanks!
