CP2000 and PrepressInterface

Have a slight problem. We just bought a SM74 used and traded in our SM52. We were using PrepressInterface with the 52. They riggers broke down the console ont he old machine before I could copy the settings to comunicate with PrepressInterface. Does anyone know where the network settings are set up on the CP2000? I have looked everywhere but have not had any luck. Just looking for any help before I call Heidelberg.

Hi Maudib,

I do not have the knowledge for setting it up but just wanted to let you know depending on when you bought your Prepress Interface, you may need a format upgrade from 2 up to 4 up.

Here's what's needed:

CP2000
- A user and a password that matches one on the Prepress Interface computer.
- A network path to the shared folder on the Prepress Interface computer. ie: \\computername\sharedfoldername or \\192.168.1.30\sharedfoldername

It's fairly simple to create this setup you just need to know the exact location to do it in.

Once you have the network path written down get a phone out to the press console and call Heidelberg. If you have done all of that prep work it shouldn't take the Heidelberg tech long at all to tell you what to do.
