bleeds with Prinect Signa Station 1.5

Finally we got Prinect Signa Station 1.5 ... and its for the first time I am using it I think its much better than Preps ( what I use to work with before ) ..

but I have some Q and I am sure I will ask for the help of expert here again and again ( atleast for a month or two ) ..

My First Q is :

is there a way to gave Automatic bleed for the sheets .. when ever I want to gave a bleed in the end of the sheet I have to go to
Folding sheet / Assebly Block then click on the page I want to gave bleed and input the numbers I want in the LEFT / RIGHT / BOTTON / TOP manually ..

is this the only way to do the bleeding or there is any other ways ?

thanks in advance Mr.Prepress_vee

I haven't seen the Prinect SignaStation yet, I'm still on SignaStation 9.0.

I know there are major differences between the two versions, but if you have a tab for Masterpages, this is where you set your page sizes and bleed for each page in the signature.

My other suggestion would be to click the HELP tab, and search for "bleed" Heidelberg is really good about references in the Help section.

On signa 1.5 you can set the bleed by going to master pages (third option along in the wizard), and selecting Page-related trim / bleed. There are other options under this, but as far as I know, this is the setting we always have in. The only other consideration you may want to check ur set up with the binding method - perfect bound work may drop bleeds off to accommodate for working type.

Hope this helps! :P :? :?:

First there is a preference setting for bleed.
Next if you are using imposition mode then master pages is where you set the bleed for all the different master pages. Job Part Inspector/Master Pages.
If you are using montage then the assembly block inspector is where you would set the bleed.

Just curious, did you have any training and where are you located?
